…Revolve troubles the quiescent pleasures of formalism by also investigating how we communicate through things. These sculptures are not silent. They have language (titles) that direct attention beyond mute Minimalism and toward specific ideas. While fueled by authorial intention, they are also available as visual metaphors, concrete symbols for our use when conventional language fails experience.
